David Fischer Was about time I bought this one as a physical version. Skyforest was my first step into black metal territory at all, shortly after the release of this gem. Every song is a piece of perfection, the cover art is immensely beautiful and altogether, Unity is maybe the greatest album that I have ever heard. It will always hold a special place within my heart and now also in my physical collection. Maybe I should get a swan. 10/10 ain't enough for this album. Favorite track: The Swan.

Second album of Skyforest. It was written entirely during autumn-winter 2015. It is sharing a bit more positive and hopeful vibe than Aftermath. Lyrically, the album is about unity with nature and unity with yourself.

Skyforest is a melancholic metal project of B.M. (Blurry Lights, Hiki). First writings and recordings were made in the beginning of 2013, but the first release surfaced only in the mid-2014, when session members were found for a proper recording.

I’ve owned the Imperfect disc for a bit now, but had slept on the rest of the material, with the exception of Disquiet, until now. Much different than my normal dissonant, occult sound fare, but everything Unrequited creates is bursting at the seams with power and emotion. Respect and support. Slug.
